Tutorial: Free Resources
Learn, create, play, and help
The Free Resource Gallery brings together learning materials, art and images, music and sound, coding, games and game assets, and creative tools. Browse without signing in. Search or filter by category, level, language, account requirements, and reuse category. Some details may be marked Not specified: check the provider before use.
Find and save something useful
Choose Open resource to visit the provider. Free access does not always include permission to copy or adapt material. Read each card’s access and reuse notes, then check the specific item’s license. Sign in and use Save for later to build your collection; select My saved resources to find it again.
Sort by Newest, Highest rated, or Most opened. Highest rated uses a five-rating baseline of 3.5 stars to reduce the effect of very small samples; cards still display the actual average and rating count. Card views and resource opens count once per visitor per resource per day. They show interest, not proof of quality.
Submit a free resource
- Sign in and finish your player registration.
- Choose Share a free resource. Enter its title and a public link, choose a category, and confirm a useful free option exists. HTTP links are converted to HTTPS.
- Choose whether you are sharing another creator’s link or your own original material. Only claim original material you created and can offer freely.
- Optionally add the creator/provider, a description, access limits, language, account requirements, and reuse permissions. Unknown permissions never imply permission to copy.
- If answering a community request, choose that open request in the form.
- Submit for review. A confirmation appears below the form. Find the record in My submissions; it goes to Administrator review rather than Messages.
The administrator checks usefulness, free access, credits, and permissions. Pending or declined submissions remain in your own list. Approval publishes the resource and awards Helping points. Duplicate links do not earn additional points. A decline includes feedback.
Rate, review, or report
Sign in to rate a resource from 1 to 5 stars and optionally share a short review or tip. You can update your rating; each player has one rating per resource. Contributors cannot rate their own listings. The Resource Reviews page gathers written reviews, with resource and category filters. Report a problem sends broken-link, fee, credit, or permission concerns to the administrator.
Credit the materials used in a POP
After saving a POP, use Resource sources and creator credits to select the resources it actually uses. You can also choose Record use in my POP from a resource card. The POP’s Details page lists these sources and lets its author correct connections.
A resource card shows how many public POPs use it and links to them. Original creators see this information in their Dashboard. Sharing someone else’s link does not make you its creator. Private POPs do not appear in public counts or public usage lists; only their author can see their private connections.
These connections are declared by players. Teachers and creators can use them to review attribution; the gallery does not automatically detect copied content or prove plagiarism.
Ask for help and earn Helping points
Post a resource request explaining what you want to learn, create, or play. Other players can submit a resource answering it. An approved shared link earns 1 Helping point; approved original material earns 3 total. An approved answer to another player’s open request earns 1 extra, once per request. Views, ratings, saves, and reviews do not earn points automatically. See Tutorial: Good Points for the separate counters.
