Tutorial: Good Points
Helping others deserves visible recognition. ArtPuzzle keeps different kinds of recognition in separate counters so players can understand how each was earned.
Good points: supporting causes
Good points (Pg) reflect qualifying clicks on approved Good-cause links attached to your POPs. Add cause links when creating or editing a POP. My Profile → Impact & sponsor rewards shows qualifying clicks and your cumulative Good-point indicator.
The current cumulative calculation adds 5 × exp(−0.1 × n) for each qualifying Good-link click n, beginning at n = 1. Later clicks add smaller increments. Sponsor-click indicators are calculated separately. These indicators are not a cash balance or a payment promise.
Helping points: sharing free resources

Submit through the Free Resource Gallery. Points are awarded after administrator approval and saved to your account. Repeated approval or duplicate sharing does not multiply points. Already approved original submissions receive the same creator bonus. The administrator checks that a contribution is meaningful and that an original-material claim is justified; dividing one collection into many tiny submissions is not a reason for extra credit.
Check your Helping-point total and history in the gallery. The total also appears in your Dashboard and Profile rewards. It remains separate from cause-link Good points and Ceremonial points; it does not automatically alter rank eligibility.
Creator recognition and game points
Original creators receive usage recognition: “Your resource helped create 12 public POPs,” with links to those POPs. This recognition belongs to the creator, while a player who shares the link receives contribution credit. Usage counts do not add Helping points automatically.
Ceremonial and game points recognize participation under their own game rules. They are not combined with Helping points. The separate free-style template counter is a future feature; this gallery does not record brainstorm scores.
What earns no automatic points?
Resource views, external opens, ratings, saves, written reviews, and reports do not automatically award points. Pending and declined submissions earn none. Good points, Helping points, and game recognition are not interchangeable with money.
