Example Judging: Criteria, Feedback and a Jury Decision
Proposed contest arrangement
Publish the judging criteria before entries arrive. Example criteria: clarity of need, usefulness, accessibility, feasibility and quality of evidence.
Use existing ratings and comments to gather community feedback. A separate jury can record its reasoning under the organizer's published rules. Community popularity and official selection must remain distinguishable.
Promotion jury tools already exist for rank applications. Adapting that workflow to a particular contest may require development. This example does not claim a dedicated contest jury workflow is already configured.
Record conflicts of interest, explain eligibility and provide a way to ask questions.
